Zestril 20 mg tablets contain lisinopril, a medication classified as an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor.

Additionally, it is prescribed for individuals with heart failure and those experiencing blood pressure issues or kidney problems associated with type 2 diabetes.

How to use zestril 20 mg:
The dosage is determined by your doctor, taking into consideration your health condition and the medications you are currently using.

Cautions:
• Before taking lisinopril, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or to other ACE inhibitors (such as benazepril); or if you have any other allergies.
• This medication is not intended for pregnant women.

• Zestril 20 mg side effect:
Tell your doctor right away if you have any serious side effects
- Dry Cough.
- Dizziness
- Tiredness

• Zestril 20 and other medicines:
- Aliskiren.
- Certain drugs that weaken the immune system/increase the risk of infection (such as everolimus, sirolimus)
- Lithium
- Drugs that may increase the level of potassium in the blood (such as ARBs including losartan/valsartan, birth control pills containing drospirenone)
- Sacubitril.
