Tothema 10 ml* 20 Ampoules

Tothema ampule 10ml 20’s contains an iron supplement in liquid form.

The formulation includes Copper and Manganese, which enhance its action.

Tothema improves hematologic and biochemical index, completely supplies iron and copper deficiency, and prevents an iron-resistant form of IDA.

Tothema ampule indications:
• Iron deficiency anemias
• Iron deficiency prophylaxis in pregnancy and newborns with an iron-deficient mother

How to use tothema ampoules:

Ampoules are drunk after dilution in sweetened water or not, or in any other soft drink.

Take preferably the ampoule before meals, but sometimes the time of the intake and the dosage must be adapted according to digestive tolerance.

Curative treatment: The recommended dose is 100 to 200 mg of metal iron per day or 2 to 4 ampoules of Tothema®.

Preventive treatment for Pregnant women: The recommended dose is 50 mg of metal iron per day or 1 ampoule of Tothema® during the last two quarters of pregnancy (or from the 4th month).
Duration of treatment: 3 to 6 months, butmay beaybe prolonged further if the cause of anemia is not controlled.

The side effects of tothema ampoules:
• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Heartburn
• diarrhea or constipation
• Black stools

Cautions:
• Hypersensitivity to iron or other drug contents.
• Anemia not related to iron deficiency.
• Drinking a large amount of tea.
