Carbamazepine
Tegretol (carbamazepine) is an anticonvulsant.
It works by decreasing nerve impulses that cause seizures and pain, so it is used to prevent and control seizures.

Tegretol 400 Indications:
•Treat certain types of seizures (partial, tonic-clonic, mixed).
•Treat nerve pain such as trigeminal neuralgia and glossopharyngeal neuralgia.

Points of interest:
•It may take up to 4 weeks before your symptoms improve.
•Do not stop using Tegretol suddenly, even if you feel fine. Stopping suddenly may cause increased seizures.
How to use:
Take it exactly as prescribed by your doctor.

Carbamazepine.

Tegretol 400 Side effects:
•Dizziness, loss of coordination, problems with walking.
•Nausea, vomiting.
•Drowsiness.

Cautions:
•You should not take Tegretol if you have a history of bone marrow suppression.
•Stay alert to changes in your mood or symptoms.

Tegretol 400 Interactions:
•Do not use Tegretol if you have taken an MAO inhibitor in the past 14 days. A dangerous drug interaction could occur.
